To schedule a Private Class please contact Chefs’ Haven at 302.234.2040 or mark@chefshavende.com or by stopping in. Private Classes may be booked for 6-10 people. We require a $250.00 non-refundable deposit at the time the class is booked. The remainder of the class cost is due the night of your event.

When paying your deposit, please just add 1 to the cart for your entire party (no need to include the actual number of guests). Please DO NOT pay the deposit until you have confirmed your private cooking class with us.

Class Policies

1. Private classes are available for groups of 6 to 10 people.

2. Clients may pick from the existing class list, or mix and match (e.g., an appetizer from a Sushi class, a main dish from a Steak class, etc.). You have the opportunity to learn what you want to learn!

3. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule a private class. The deposit will be applied to the total due for the class.

4. The remainder of the payment will be due at the completion of the class. The total cost of the class will be determined based on the number of people attending and the food being prepared. Chefs’ Haven will provide you with the total cost once the menu has been chosen and agreed upon by the client booking the reservation and Chef Mark.

5. Deposits and other payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card. If paying by credit card a 3.9% merchant cost will be added to the total amount due.

6. Recipes of all food prepared during the class will be provided to all participants.

7. Cancellation Policy:

   • If you need to cancel your class reservation for your entire group, you must provide Chefs’ Haven with at least 5 days’ notice via phone or in person. Cancellation by email is not accepted.

     • If you provide Chefs’ Haven with the proper notice you may reschedule your class reservation for another date without the need to provide another deposit.

     • If you do not provide Chefs’ Haven with the proper notice you will lose your deposit. There are no exceptions to this policy.

   • If you need to cancel your class reservation for a portion of your group, you must provide Chefs’ Haven with at least 5 days’ notice via phone or in person. Cancellation by email is not accepted.

     • If you do not provide Chefs’ Haven with the proper notice you will be required to pay the entire cost of the original booking. There are no exceptions to this policy.

     • If you provide Chefs’ Haven with the proper notice an adjustment to the cost of the class will be made.
